PRESENTATION OF:

Atelier Swarovski per Matthew Campbell Laurenza

THE JEWELED GARDEN COLLECTION
Atelier Swarovski is delighted to announce its first fine jewelry collection, designed by Matthew Campbell Laurenza. Hand crafted with Swarovski gemstones, the Jeweled Garden collection consists of 15 one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, which will be sold exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman from April 2014.
«Much artistic license was exercised to create my Jeweled Garden collection for Atelier Swarovski. I played with many different organic forms and shapes to design pieces which I wanted to appear as if they were picked from a magical garden to adorn the wearer. Each Swarovski gem is cut with perfect proportions, increasing the refraction of light and amplifying colors that reflect specific flowers and insects», says Matthew Campbell Laurenza.
Matthew was introduced to Swarovski Gems five years ago, and his fascination with the brand’s extraordinary craftsmanship and unrivalled range of color-matched stones inspired him to create anatomically correct flower and insect sculptures drawn from a “parallel universe to our reality where flora and fauna rule the world”. These magical sculptures were transformed into wearable art to create the Atelier Swarovski by Matthew Campbell Laurenza jewelry collection.
«It’s such a privilege to collaborate with Matthew Campbell Laurenza on the first Atelier Swarovski fine jewelry collection. Matthew is a true artist who really understands the infinite versatility of Swarovski gemstones, and his beautiful sculptural pieces perfectly embody Atelier Swarovski’s luxury design aesthetic while pushing the boundaries of creativity with our gorgeous gemstones». says Nadja Swarovski, Member of the Executive Board, Swarovski Crystal Business.
The exquisite collection comprised of eight rings, four bracelets and three necklaces is made with semi-precious and precious Swarovski gemstones including multi-colored sapphires, amethyst, rhodolite garnets, spinel and topaz. Each meticulously handmade piece is set in 18KT gold and highlights an element of beauty found in nature.
