Tradition...

Extravagantly ornamented Jewish wedding ring has a hinged gable roof with a small compartment underneath. It’s decorated with enamel and filigree. The beautiful enamel parts of the gable roof are formed to look like tiles and dormer windows. These architectural features may represent the marital home of the couple, or the Holy Temple. The origins of the ring are uncertain, but it was made somewhere in Europe sometime after the 16th century.

I'd call this an ear bauble!

Care for a ride?

This opulent pendant is shaped like a hippocamp – a mythological sea-horse. The name comes from the Greek ἵππος (horse) and κάμπος (monster) and it’s commonly shown with a horse’s front and fish-like hindquarters. This mythical creature has also given its name to the hippocampus in the brain, due to its similar shape!
This jewel was probably made in Paris in the early 19th century, but it is modelled on jewels made in the 16th century. It’s made of enamelled gold, emeralds and pearls.

The Kent Festoon Tiara

The Kent Festoon Tiara is composed of a series of elaborate diamond elements (festoons) topped by a single pearl. The tiara originally featured a base of collet diamonds, but they were replaced with a base of a row of pearls by Princess Michael. Unlike most other jewels from the Kent collection, this tiara has no clear provenance. It was made, possibly by Cartier, around 1900. The tiara first appeared on Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent in the 1950s, and may have been inherited from Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll (a daughter of Queen Victoria) in 1939.

Serious bling....
